Course aims
To provide a survey of phonetics and phonology and its main categories. Practice of French pronunciation.
Brief description of the course
French phonemes and artikulation: vowles, nasal vowles, half vowles. The mute 'e'. Consonants: occlusives, fricatives and nasals, labials, dentals, palatals etc. Phonetic transcription. Phonetic vaieties. Phonemes, allophones, phonological opposition, neutralisation. Accent, intonation.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:

Correct French pronunciation.
