Course aims
To provide a systemised overview of main development trends in literature of the twentieth century.
Brief description of the course
An overview of the main development trends in twentieth century European and American literature. Different occurrences of modernism (expressionism, futurism, Dada, surrealism, imago in national literatures. Trends after World War II: existentialism, magical realism. Postmodernism in its diversity.
