Course aims
Professional placement. Application of basic philological knowledge in individual work.
Brief description of the course
Application of basic philological knowledge in individual work with a duration of 15 days, collecting linguistic material in field work or work with linguistic collections (the manuscript and electronic databases of The Institute of Estonian Language and Emakeele Selts) becoming acquainted with the applications of linguistics (language teaching, computational linguistics, language technology) and practice etc.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Experience in working independently and implementing basic knowledge in work of a philologist.
