Course aims

To obtain the main principles of polish grammar. Refine and extend students' knowledge of polish grammar.

Brief description of the course

Grammatical structure of Polish language. Noun's and adjective's declension. Ordinal and cardinal numbers. Verbal forms: modes, verb tenses, their use. Parts of speech: noun, adjective, numeral, pronoun, adverb, preposition, conjuction. Syntax.
translation practice and texts writing.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- knows basics of grammar, orthography and rules of correct spelling.
