Course aims
To give the knowledge about Slavonic literatures as a whole and the features of Polish, Chech and Bulgarian literatures separately.
Brief description of the course
Originality and time of the beginning of ancient Slavoniс literatures. Mediaval age. Renaissance in Slavonic literatures. Age of Enlightment in Slavonic literatures. The importance of the romanticism in Slavonic literatures and philosophy. Realism and complicacy of Slavonic literatures at the and of 19th century. 20th century new literary schools. The age of socialism in Slavonic literatures. Nowadays Slavonic literatures.
Features of the evolution of Polish, Chech and Bulgarian literatures.
The most significant ages, ideas, literary societes and works in Polish, Chech and Bulgarian literatures.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has capacity to analize and compare the works by Slavonic authors, taking into account the originality and the time of concrete literature.
