Course aims
Major. To introduce the physical processes in space and cosmic objects, as well as contemporary problems of cosmology in connection with the birth and evolution of the Universe.
Brief description of the course
Physical conditions on the surface of the planets of the Solar system. Structure and processes of the Sun. Stars atmospheres. Binary stars. Methods for measuring the stars characteristics. Models of the interiors of the stars. Intergalactic matter. Galaxies and Metagalaxy. Cosmological models. Big Bang.
