Course aims
To provide students with the basic information needed to understand the research process, to introduce them to mathematics didactics as research domain.
Enable students to use this knowledge to design their own research.

Brief description of the course
Mathematics didactics as the research domain, main areas of studies. Qualitative and quantitative research methods.
The formulation of research questions and choice of research designe. Discussion of previous master theses.
Student presentations.

Seminaride alguses
- on vaja valida lõputöö teema ja arutada juhendajaga läbi selle põhiküsimused;
- on vaja valida pakutud nimekirjast kaks varasemat lõputööd ja alustada sellega tutvumist.
Kokkulepitud tähtajaks tuleb täidetuna esitada lõputöö ankeet ja magistritöö registreerimisleht.
Seminarides osalemine on kohustuslik.
