Course aims
To provide skills in writing bachelor thesis and scientific papers.
Brief description of the course
The course consists of seminars that introduce the general principles of academic research, provide overview of the most common research methods, discuss generic quality criteria and introduce the principles of structure, presentation, references etc. Students prepare and deliver a seminar talk (45 minutes).
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Students are able to design and prepare a research work which contains a systematic and logical presentation of a relevant problem and according to the academic criteria for a scientific paper.
