Course aims

Core subject of the curriculum. To develop a skill to conduct a research, analyse research results and formalize a bachelor thesis according to requirements.

Brief description of the course

Bachelor thesis is a mathematical, pedagogical/didactical or applied-trended research connected with mathematics. Bachelor thesis is independent individual research, which matches international requirements to the bachelor thesis. The aim is expressing author ability to orientate in world literature on topic, ability to express research problems, to find out actuality of the problem, to use contemporary methods for their solving and present research content with result analysis. It is also necessary to give overview on unsolved problems and possible further research. Defence is open and in front of defending committee.
