Course aims

Core subject of the curriculum. To develop a skill to conduct a research, analyse research results and formalize a bachelor’s thesis according to the requirements.

Brief description of the course

In a bachelor’s thesis the student describes, models and solves a mathematical problem. The theoretical part of the bachelor’s thesis is about 15-25 pages, the work must be equipped with cross-references and the list of references used in the work. Presentation of the obtained results. The bachelor’s thesis is recommendably an overview, follow up or a deeper expansion of some topic.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has deeper knowledge about the chosen field of subject;
- has skills of collecting and processing of data;
- has capability to write a research based on the chosen field of subject.
