Brief description of the course
The project aims to explore different fields of natural sciences (biology, physics, chemistry, geography) related to the project topic. Learning takes place collaboratively in groups to acquire fundamental knowledge in these fields and develop collaboration and critical source evaluation skills. The project also involves familiarizing students with various literature sources and fostering a critical approach towards them.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- acquires basic knowledge in biology, physics, chemistry, and geography related to the project topic;
- demonstrates collaboration skills within the project group;
- critically evaluates sources and utilize scientific literature.
