Course aims
Formation of the ability to work independently as a geography teacher. Assisted by a supervising subject teacher, to gain and enrich teaching experience.
Brief description of the course
The objective is to develop and improve skills for managing with independent work as a geography teacher. Student should organize at least one subject-related activity. As a rule, the professional placement should be carried out in the schools in Tallinn. During professional placement, the student takes part in actual school work, observing the teachers and other students working in class. According to the instructions and following the regulations of the school, the student does the practical work of a subject teacher and a homeroom-teacher. The student should take part in organizing extra-curricular and subject-related work.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
