Course aims
Major. To provide an overview of the weather and climate, researches of it. Distribution of climatic elements and their changes in past and in the future.
Brief description of the course
Definition of climatology and meteorology, their relations to the other scientific disciplines. The influence of climate forming factors to weather and genesis of climate. Formation of climatic elements, distribution on Earth. Hierarchy of climatic systems, relations to landscape systems. Most used schemes of climatic regions. Research and study methods of climate.
