Course aims
Core subject. The objective of the course is to give an overview of some of the most popular multivariate statistical techniques used in the social sciences, to present their theoretical basis and the preconditions which have to be met for their successful application. The course is also designed to give some experience in interpreting the results of these techniques.
Brief description of the course
Analysis of variance (ANOVA), discriminant analysis, regression analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis.
