Course aims
Acquire knowledge in the field of technical graphics and learn to represent three-dimensional objects as drawings. Acquisition of the subject is a prerequisite for passing the next computer graphics course and studying other subjects in the field of engineering and technology. To develop spatial imagination and graphic modelling skills, logical and analytical thinking, systematic approach to solving spatial geometric problems with the help of images / drawings on a plane. To provide theoretical and practical bases for making and reading drawings, to teach and create attitudes for correct drawing.
Brief description of the course
Design, types of projections. Monge's method. Point, line and plane treatment by Monge's method. Quota cross - projection method. Derivation and use of additional projections. Polygons, their sections. Axonometric method. Types of axonometry. Basic theorem of axonometry. Relationship between deformation factors. Derivation of the transverse projection of the axis.
