Course aims
To provide an overview of the triggers and negative factors of appetite and possibilities for decorating dishes. To create ability for distinctive and imaginative use of materials.
Brief description of the course
Properties and potential use of various foodstuffs. Garnishes: tools, materials. Making garnishes. Greative menu planning. Festive foods and drinks. Serving dishes. Fantasy cakes. Cake decoration options.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Knows features and potential use of foodproducts; can prepare food for special occasions; knows the role of garnishes when serving food.
