Brief description of the course
Definitions: etiquette and protocol. Basic rules of international protocol. "Kadriorg" etiquette. Events related with human lifecycle, their celebrations throughout history. Preparation of various events and the appropriate behavior, dresses, invitations. The differences between nations and cultures related with celebrations, gifts and flowers, making the gift, etc. Different religions. Eating habits in different religions (suitable and not suitable food, fast).
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Knows the basic rules of international protocol and how to behave in accordance with the rules of "Kadriorg" protocol; knows family events specific to our culture and peculiarities when celebrating them; is able to behave in various family events and choose suitable clothes; orienting in common religions knows eating principles in different religions.
