Course aims
To get an overview of an elective subject in a school of general education, namely experimental textiles, as a creative and developing craft, and to acquire the theoretical knowledge and technical skills necessary for teaching.
Brief description of the course
An historic overview of processing textiles. Basic technological methods (printing, painting, pleating, mixed techniques, batik). Experimental textile compositions.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has knowledge about the textile processing technical possibilities;
- has ability to put the obtained knowledge into practice
