Course aims
To create prerequisites for the development of interaction between creativity and innovation in work relations. To give an overview of different theoretical principles of understanding work environment, bringing out and analysing the creative aspect of work relations.
Brief description of the course
Encouraging and promoting creativity and innovation in work relations. Creativity management and development in work relations (examples of different organisations). The concept and types of innovation. Theoretical basis for creating a creative work environment. Factors facilitating and limiting creativity in work relations, their analysis. Theories of creativity and spontaneity. Basic ethical principles for work in an organisation and their application in work relations. Independent work: compiling reports and essays based on compulsory reading, presenting them in a group and analysing the independent work of fellow students.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Knowledge about the manifestation of creativity in work relations;
Knowledge about innovation theories;
Ability to analyse the cases of innovation in work relations;
Ability to employ innovative activity in professional cooperation.
