Course aims
To introduce the basic dance and movement therapy techniques and their applications in practice.
Brief description of the course
Learning about dance and movement therapy techniques. Compiling a file of techniques. Methods of dance and movement therapies in different target groups. Planning the dance and movement therapy process. As an independent work, students plan and carry out a dance and movement therapy exercise or therapy session in their study group and analyse it.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Knowledge about the main techniques applied in dance and movement therapy;
Skills of independently applying different exercises;
Ability to independently carry out a short therapy process.
