Course aims
The objective is to give an overview of child psycho-physiological development conserning health education/promotion. To teach how to involve and motivate teenage age
pupils in HE.
Brief description of the course
Child psycho-physiological development and teenage age. Periods of growth and development. Psysiological, social, emotional aspects of growth.
Sexual growth. Childrenś sexuality. Sexuality in teenage age. Personality growth. Development of self esteem, values in preschool, school age and especially teenage age children. Special problems: Youth and depression. Body image.
Psycho-physiological health norms. When to find help?
Teenagers in learning processe: motivation and teaching methodology.
Most common health risks in different ages.
