Course aims
To give students knowledge and ability of pedagogical principle in healtheducation as roll of healtheducators in school.Students acquire skills in teaching healtheducation subjects in secondary schools.
Brief description of the course
Concept of school health education,its effectiveness and application.Aspects of health in methodology. WHO determination of health. Active study in health education. The reduction of motivation
for selfdestructive, behaviour as the most modern strategy in school health education. Developmental stages of teacher, co-active level as most effective. Teaching of critical lige skills at school and stages of teaching. School health education programme, its goals(aims) and skills. Short introduction of quality standards, demands for teaching
aids (active worksheets, videofilms, etc.) minimum background knowledge and skills in health education according to primary prevention levels. Basic themes in methodology. Examples: self- esteem and health behaviour. Sexual education. Prevention methods of riskbehaviour. Prevention of excessive stress and coping with stress. Principles of crisis aid.
