Course aims
The aim of this course is to offer students a diverse understanding of the essence of digital marketing, the ability to recognise its channels and differentiate, utilise and compare them to traditional channels; support the forming of competence in order to create digital marketing strategies and channel-wide marketing plans.
Brief description of the course
The course will introduce the essence of digital marketing, its digital strategies and help gain an understanding of its usage throughout multistage digital sales funnels. In this course, students will dissert theoretical approaches, compose experience-based practical marketing models and analyse user behaviour in digital channels. Throughout the course students will gain an overview of all known digital marketing channels, their correlation and usage, as well as learn to recognise and use relevant specialised language.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- understands digital marketing as a whole;
- has ability to bind theoretical knowledge with practical;
- has ability to create strategy-based digital marketing strategies and channel-wide marketing plans for companies.
