Course aims
To relate theoretical knowledge to practical work in the field of advertising.
Brief description of the course
Tasks related to advertising work: communicating with a client, working out strategy and tactics, project management, selection and planning of media, generating ideas and creative work when designing advertisements. Proper execution of competition applications in advertising and presentation of competitive work. 80 hours of professional placement in Estonian advertising agencies.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the specifics of advertising industry;
- is aware of the practical aspects of various advertising activities;
- understands different job positions of advertising industry;
- has willingness to perform specific tasks related to advertising at least at the level of assistant.
