Course aims
To provide the student with an overview of the principles and means of contemporary marketing communication and the ability to purposefully use them.
Brief description of the course
The course deals with various types of marketing communication and has both theoretical and practical elements. The topics dealt with include the notion of marketing communication, launching marketing, organising and managing an advertising campaign, sales promotion, direct marketing and managing the consumer relationship in marketing communication, customers, telephone sales, sponsorship, public relations. Critical analysis of already existing transmedia projects and designing transmedia campaign solutions for particular product/servise
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has an overview and knowledge of modern marketing principles and communication facilities;
- has the basic knowledge about transmedia and its usage in marketing communication; is able to plan and desing transmedia solutions for business communication;
- has some practical experience in implementing transmedia soltutions.
