Course aims

To create opportunities for analysing and promoting one's own and the group's learning, shaping the nature of the learning experience; support group processes in the context of learning; to support readiness to understand the adult learner; to support the development of practical skills that promote the learning process; create opportunities for individual and collaborative reflective learning.

Brief description of the course

Learner and group identity. Adult learning. Development of a self-directed learner. Developing the ability to analyse learning and learning experiences. Self-determination theory, levels of learning, coworking, supervision, coaching, collaborative learning in an organization, team building and roles.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- analyses one's learning needs, experiences and perspectives based on the changed meaning of learning and the theory of self-determination;
- analyses adult learning opportunities in the work environment
- makes sense of and reflects on self- and group-based learning based on scientific literature.
