Course aims
Developing valuing attitude towards learner’s autonomy, individual learning strategies, determining different learning requirements; developing learning strategies for practical activities.
Brief description of the course
Organizing effective teaching according to individual needs. Strategies that work in the interest of all learners. Getting to know the students, adapting teaching to each student, so called independent level, clarification level, anxiety level, co-operative level, self-esteem level. Metacognitive learning – knowledge of what I know.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows and is able to formulate different learning requirements, strategies, meta-cognitive strategies;
- is able to draw up individual observation plans and to formulate and value the results of observations;
- knows different methods for learning to know the pupils’ individual aspects of learning;
- is able to formulate the expected learning outcomes and to find and choose suitable teaching strategies (teaching methods, supportive assessment);
- develops a valuing attitude towards learner autonomy and individual learning style.
