Course aims
To support development of competencies for critical analysis and evaluation of research and development projects.
Brief description of the course
Critical analysis of theoretical approaches and methodology of the co-student's PhD project in the form of the written review. The reviewer evaluates the relevance of theoretical approaches, brings out strengths and weaknesses of the project, evaluates the possible risks and opportunities of chosen methodology and research process.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Ability to critically analyze a plan or a state of a research project;
Competencies to evaluate relevance and application possibilities of a chosen methodology;
Competencies to consider research ethics;
Ability to stand one's point of views in an open discussion.
