Course aims
• To establish an opportunity for applying the acquired knowledge, skills and experience of the practical crossmedia development process
• Create opportunities to support the development of the ability to conduct research and write academic text in the field of marketing communication psychology.
• Create opportunities and support the development of skills in conducting research and academic writing in the field of communication management;
• Create preconditions for reinforcement of the special subjects and possessing academic self-expression;
• Create readiness to continue studies at doctoral level.

Brief description of the course
The master´s thesis includes thorough independent research and analysis on a chosen subject, relying on contemporary theories and research methods.
A precondition for allowing the defence of the master´s thesis is the completion of the subjects and practices of the curriculum of Digital Library Learning/DILL.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is skilled in using research literature in his/her field of research;
- has advanced knowledge in a specific field of information science;
- manages to formulate research questions and choose appropriate research methods to solve the problem;
- is able to present speciality connected problems in the written form;
- is able to present and defend his/her research results in public discussion;
- is qualified to analyse and critically evaluate research results;
- is able to analyse and evaluate the level of his/her competencies, to plan professional development and continue education in the framework of life-long education or PhD studies;
- is qualified to participate in research process, including in international research teams.
