Course aims
To create the preconditions for developing the basic knowledge of information society services, information governance and data management.
Brief description of the course
Introduction into the main concepts. The terms and con-cepts of information society services. General characteris-tics of different types of public services. Processes and information governance. Standardisation of information governance. Information governance and data manage-ment regulations.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- knows the concepts and principles of management of information society services, information governance and data management;
- understands the principles of information and data man-agement systems and knows the basics of information governance in an organisation;
- knows the information governance and data manage-ment processes and standardisation principles;
- is able to use standards and regulations for information governance and data management in an organisation.
