Course aims
To support the implementation of professional knowledge and skills acquired during the studies into solving of research tasks, and the presentation of the findings in research.
Brief description of the course
The fulfilment of a piece of individual research in the field of information science, librarianship or book science under the guidance of the project’s supervisor. The selection of the topic, data collection, analysis and interpretation. Individual research and writing. The oral presentation and defendance of the research project. Analysing and reviewing of the co-student’s project, written and oral presentation.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
By the end of this course the student:
Is able to conduct research in the field of information science;
Is able to apply acquired theoretical knowledge while doing a research project;
Can present research findings in written form and present them orally, can debate on the topic;
Has acquired knowledge and skills to continue research at Master level studies.
