Course aims
To introduce the process of designing, developing evaluation prototypes.
Brief description of the course
Explorative, experimental and evolutionary prototyping. Horizontal and vertical prototyping. Low and high fidelity prototyping. Design patterns. Inspection and empirical evaluation methods.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is aware of different prototyping possibilities;
- is able to select adequate prototyping approaches;
- is aware of different prototype evaluation options;
- is able to apply adequate prototype evaluation methods;
- is ready to design, develop and evaluate different kinds of prototypes.
