Course aims
To support the development of professional specialization, the acquisition of practical skills in planning and conducting scientific research, and to help achieve readiness to prepare and defend a Master's thesis.
Brief description of the course
During the seminar, the structuring and completion of the student's Master's thesis as a whole is supported and encouraged. At the seminar, the students will present the main points and current status of their Master's theses, including the analysis of the data collected in the framework of the research and the synthesis of the research results with a theoretical framework. During the seminar, the aspects related to the topic, the individual stages of its implementation, the strengths and weaknesses of the research are discussed and reflected in order to create a readiness to complete and defend the research.

During the seminar, students are practically prepared for independent research work:
- writing a scientific text;
- analysis and interpretation of research data in relation to the theoretical framework;
- drawing conclusions;
- research paper presentation and discussion related to the topic.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to practically conduct their planned research;
- interprets research results in the light of a specific research topic;
- presents the goals, methodology and results of their research;
- is able to discuss on the topic of their research.
