Course aims
To acquaint students to principles of creation of digital media clips and to provide provide opportunities to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for creating media clips for digital learning materials.
Brief description of the course
Web-based environments for creating and sharing learning materials. Creating multimedia elements for use in digital learning materials. Basic skills in photo, audio, and video editing. Creating screen recordings. Animation. Publishing photos, presentations, audio, and video clips in online environments, podcasting.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- understands the principles of digital image editing;
- understands the principles of digital audio recording and editing;
- understands the principles of digital video recording and editing;
- understands the principles of animation;
- edits digital images;
- records and edits digital audio and video clips;
- creates simple animations.
