Course aims
Participants will learn to prepare, carry out, reflect and analyse the informatics lessons that are based on active learning approach.
Brief description of the course
The course is organised in the form of active learning, participants will gain first hand experience on various methods of active learning: brainstorming, zig-zag groupwork, icebreakers, inquiry learning etc. The course is based on open learning environment (blogs, feed aggregators, social conceptmapping, videosharing tools etc.). Participants have to design, carry out, record on video and reflect upon an informatics lesson that is based on active learning approach.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to implement active learning in the context of school informatics.
