Course aims
To develop the students’ skills of planning and conducting the teaching process in informatics using various pedagogical strategies; to enable the integration of theory and practice as well as the preparation for the second teaching practice
Brief description of the course
The theoretical knowledge obtained in subject didactics is put into practice in real school environment. Based upon the subject didactics course the student prepares 3 lesson plans for which feedback will be received from the supervising teacher, lecturer and peer students. The lessons are carried out at school according to the individual action programme (in agreement with the school supervisor).
Learning outcomes in the course
By the end of the subject didactics practicum the student is able to:
1. Plan and conduct informatics lessons based on the prescribed learning scenarios
2. Analyze the taught lessons based on the pre-defined analytic framework
3. Compose digital learning resources needed for planned informatics lessons
4. Assess learning outcomes in informatics
