Course aims
To further the students' competences in educational technology in using the infrastructure of different laboratories of didactics;
to support the students' skills in preparing lessons via cooperation using different methods and means of information and communication technology (ICT);
to support the willingness to conduct a lesson using different methods and means of information and communication technology (ICT);
to support the development of self-evaluation skills in students;
to increase the integration between subjects.

Brief description of the course
The course is focused on the development of competences in educational technology to use the laboratories of didactics of the Centre for Educational Technology. Within the course different laboratory equipment and related methodology is learnt via project-based learning. In cooperation with an educational technologist, a specialist in subject didactics and a supervisor of school training the student prepares two lessons to be conducted in the course of teacher training in the laboratory of Centre of Educational Technology with students.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The student:
- is able to associate different equipment and environments with different methods of information and communication technology (ICT);
- is able to plan and conduct his/her subject lessons using innovative equipment and teaching methods and to integrate lessons planned with other lessons
- is able to supervise learners and colleagues, if necessary, in using technical equipment and in finding suitable methodology;
- is familiar with the methodology of project-based learning;
- is able to rationalise, evidence and share one's experience in the e-portfolio.
The student:
