Course aims
To develop the students' basic knowledge of educational technology in order to support their technological skills in shaping the learning environment in stage II and III study;
to support practical skills and competences in educational technology to use various methods and means of information and communication technology (ICT) to diversity learning activities in the learning processes of stage II and III study;
to support the willingness to apply the resources of educational technology for professional development.

Brief description of the course
The basic concepts of educational technology; technological development in the context of teaching; learning environments and teaching in these (open and closed learning environments); project-based learning; pedagogical bases of ICT-based inter-subject learning projects; repositories of learning objective(s); network etiquette and copyright; competences in educational technology, competence model and the teacher's e-portfolio.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The student:
- uses technology in diversification of learning environment;
- designs and prepares digital learning objects and distributes these in a web-based environment;
- prepares an e-portfolio , which supports self-development and contains evidence on learning, reflection on what is learnt and experienced, as well as on communal activities;
- follows good practice in using web-based information (Creative Commons) and intellectual property.
The student:
- uses technology in diversification of learning environment;
- designs and prepares digital learning objects and distributes these in a web-based environment;
- prepares an e-portfolio , which supports self-development and contains evidence on learning, reflection on what is learnt and experienced, as well as on communal activities;
- follows good practice in using web-based information (Creative Commons) and intellectual property.
