Course aims
The objective of the course is to provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills for creating desktop applications and understanding how different kinds of computer programmes are made.
Brief description of the course
Object-oriented programming. Classes, interfaces, methods, variables. Exceptions, hiding. Software development methods and assessment. Using Java in desktop applications. TCP/IP programming, sockets. Graphics, animations. Organising work in programmers group.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
Course participant knows possible application structures, developement ways and possibilities. He can create middle-level tools alone or within a group of programmers.
