Brief description of the course
The course focuses on mastering the complex syntax of Japanese texts, reaching a proficiency level approximating CEFR B1 (JLPT N4+/N3). Students develop the ability to distinguish facts from opinions and justify their viewpoints by analyzing longer Japanese texts and articles. The curriculum includes approximately 500–600 kanji characters (including a review of levels A1–A2) and the study of nuanced grammatical expressions and their usage in various contexts. The course fosters learner autonomy, cooperation, and initiative in solving linguistic challenges. Digital tools are used purposefully for information retrieval and text analysis. Students set personal learning goals, analyze their own learning process, and take responsibility for completing their learning assignments.
