Brief description of the course
During the course, students further develop their Arabic language proficiency from CEFR level A1 towards A2 by deepening their understanding of linguistic structures and their application in more complex communicative situations. The course focuses on topics such as Arabic morphology, ʾinna-clauses and relative clauses, root and morpheme types, pronominal constructions (such as kullun, ʾayyun, baʿḍun, ġayru, miṯlu, šibhu), and verb forms (including geminated verbs, Form IX, and the jussive).
Students learn to use core vocabulary in simple academic and everyday contexts in accordance with communicative situations and cultural context.
Learning takes place through guided instruction, practical grammar and communication exercises, reading and analysis of texts, and both oral and written expression.
