Course aims
Provide opportunities to obtain enhanced knowledge in the field of contemporary culture studies.
Provide opportunities for acquiring enhanced understanding of topical research themes in contemporary cultural theory and cultural studies.
Provide opportunities for developing of competences of seminar discussion on texts and problems in contemporary culture studies.

Brief description of the course
The programme of the seminar varies from year to year and its main aim is to discuss in the seminar setting the new topical issues and questions of the study of contemporary culture.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has an enhanced knowledge in the field of contemporary culture studies;
- has acquired enhanced understanding of topical research themes in contemporary cultural theory and cultural studies;
- is able to discuss publicly the texts and problems of contemporray culture studies.
