Course aims
To acquire teaching techniques for EL instruction. To develop student motivation and responsibility through a range of activities.To develop lesson observation and analysis skills, including self-observation and reflection. To develop creative work as well as educational and FL research skills.
Brief description of the course
Participating in schoolwork. Observing the lessons of other teachers and peer students. Conducting EL classes and extracurricular activities on the basis of the teaching practice programme and school structure. The analysis of school life experience.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
The student teachers explore and reflect upon their classroom experiences, seeing their connection with the theories of FL teaching.
The student teachers can plan, execute EFL lessons and evaluate the effectiveness of their teaching, knowing the subject content and learner peculiarities as well as selecting appropriate teaching methods.
