Course aims

Support students in learning the basics of Estonian folklore and customs.

Brief description of the course

Overwiev of Estonian folklore and customs, the history of Estonian ethnographic culture. Ethnographic culture in modern times, the most common customs and beliefs, important dates. Modern folklore.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
Capability to cope in Estonian society, basic knowledge of Estonian folklore and customs.
