Course aims
To acquire and develop skills of translating texts with different cultural background and textual types of Finnish, to widen vocabulary.
Brief description of the course
Translating different text types and texts with different cultural background. Cultural differences in Finnish, Estonian and Russian, attaching great importance to cultural terms and orthographical peculiarites.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to translate different textual types from Finnish into Estonian or Russian.
- is able to translate different textual types from Finnish into Estonian or Russian.
