Course aims
Deepening knowledge in one narrower aspect of applied linguistics – in language planning, language policy, terminology or some other field of applied linguistics.
Brief description of the course
In-depth course of applied linguistics from the point of view of particular approach or topic in linguistics. Lectures are accompanied by seminars and individual homework. Course will be conducted by different lecturers and the content varies depending upon the focus and the lecturer.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is familiar with the main concepts of applied linguistics;
- is able to analyse relevant scientific literature and present his/her findings.
