Course aims

To direct student’s progress in carrying out independent research work.

Brief description of the course

Setting an independent research issue; design of research work, carrying it out and formulating the outcome under supervision of lecturer.

Learning outcomes in the course

Upon completing the course the student:
- has mastered the skill of independent research work;
- can collect research matter in a limited scope;
- can analyse the material collected for solving the research issue according to his or her knowledge in specialty, being able to apply linguistic/literary criticism research methods suitable to topic;
- can draw preliminary generalisations and independent conclusions basing on his or her research results;
- can present his or her research results in a generally acceptable form.
