Course aims
To offer opportunities for academic activities for organic integration in the institutional activities. To support the development of competence for teaching and supervising in the context of higher education.
Brief description of the course
To complete this course a student needs to complete at least three of the following academic activities: 1) teaching a course or part of a course, including preparation; 2) supervising or co-supervising BA or MA thesis;
3) taking over one task or contributing to a deliverable in an R&D project; 4) contributing actively to the preparation of one R&D grant proposal; 5) contributing to the organization of an international or national academic conference or workshop; 6) performing one academic outreach activity (e.g. collaborating with industry, conducting a training session or science communication activity connected to own research conducted).
After completion of at least three of these, the student prepares a short report, including for each item a short reflection on what they learned, and submits it to the supervisor.

Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- is able to actively participate and contribute to academic activities at the university;
- has a willingness to carry out teaching in higher education;
- is able to guide and support the student in completing the thesis;
- conducts various academic activities related to creative activities;
- participates in research and development activities, including the preparation and implementation of projects.
