Course aims
A main subject for the Screenwriting and Film Theory speciality, during which the student acquires the substantive and technical skills for scriptwriting.
Brief description of the course
The course consists of speciality seminars on various elements of a screenwriters's work, performing practical exercises, viewing film exceprts, case studies as well as joint analysis of exercises and film excerpts in the classroom.
Learning outcomes in the course
Upon completing the course the student:
- has ability to independently write the script for a short film within the given framework, taking into account the different stages of scriptnwriting.
