To create prerequisites for developing the techniques for playing the guitar and opportunities for playing the guitar in a band.
Brief description of the course
The students are being given an opportunity to develop their guitar playing skills on a basic level during one semester. The student practices reading music for guitar, guitar band, learns how to back the soloist and how to use a right application during play.
The student has to practice different parts and pieces of the band that have been given by the lecturer. The assignments for independent exercises are learning the music, right application, achievieing a beautiful tone, rhythmic playing skills. Learning outcomes in the course
The student has gained basic technical guitar playing skills, is able to play from the music notes easier pieces and band pieces. The student is able to play simpler majors and back the soloist.
Pass or fail. Playing the guitar in the band or as a soloist.
